The Lord Mayor of Belfast, Arder Carson, has described Saint George’s Market as “the jewel in Belfast City Council’s crown” and a place to showcase “all that is good about our city’s artisan food offering”.

Mr Carson said: “It is a pivotal aspect of the city’s supply chain, and The Twilight Market will be an ideal opportunity for people to enjoy local produce at its best and to be a part of the synergy between local producers, suppliers and restaurants.”

With live music, pop-up restaurants and food and drink stalls to choose from – there is something for everyone to whet their appetite.

Throughout the evening there will also be cookery demonstrations – led by familiar faces from the local food scene including chefs from Coppi Restaurant, Mourne Seafood and Belfast Cookery School.

The Twilight Market is supported by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. For more information and the full list of traders attending this free event visit – http://www.belfastcity.gov.uk/events/Event-54379.aspx
